trunknutsWHITEHEADfloater
trunknutsWHITEHEADfloater focused three strong points in a very nebulous space. trunknuts replaced a gallery support post with a raw tree trunk girdled by a massive charm bracelet of steel and cement forms; WHITEHEAD was a cast-in-place two-ton plaster room that condensed the vast proportions of the gallery to a dense aural quantity of whiteness around one's ears; floater, an 18-foot diameter steel and cloth torus, was the buoyant contrast and space shrinker. trunknutsWHITEHEADfloater was a significant work to me because I allowed the elements to develop very organically and to associate with each other by feeling. I can't rationalize this work-the connections are intuitive.
